Clinical Psychologist (NSW)

The ideal candidate will have autonomy to create a new client base whilst delivering quality psychology clinical services to existing clients. 

A back ground in/and or relevant disability industry experience would be desirable, in assisting and supporting clients, their families, careers and other stakeholders, to achieve their goals through a person-centered approach of ‘choice and control’.

Essential skills and experience

A tertiary degree and registration (or equivalent) qualification in Psychology;

  • Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA);

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to clients and stakeholders of differing backgrounds; and be able to gain rapport quickly to develop effective therapeutic relationships;

  • A Working with Children’s Check and Police Clearance;

  • C class license, access to a reliable vehicle and comprehensive insurance;

  • Disability experience and an understanding of personal centered practices (desirable);

  • Experience of NDIS plans and funding (desirable);

  • The ability to work with both children and adults is highly desired.
